Bid for Game is a set of resources aimed at helping beginners and improvers at Bridge. Here, you will find two tools designed to give you practice at your ACOL bidding and cardplay:
- Solo where you can practice on your own;
- Duo where you and your partner can bid and play hands.

About Bid for game
The Bid for Game project was motivated by the conviction that:
- there are never too many resources for the beginner at bridge;
- there a few resources on Acol;
- people want to practice on their own;
- people want to practice on their partner.
Acknowledgments
- The specification for the bidding engine was developed by Andrew Scott.
- The development undertaken by by Jeff Watkins.
Technology
- the web app framework is Svelte, hosted on Netlify;
- the user database and event notifications are delivered by Supabase;
- the bidding and cardplay engines are written in Python using the Django framework;
- the online documentation was written in markdown, presented by Sphinx.
